PRMS ART

Semester 1: Ceramics

Students will learn how to use clay techniques to build original pottery.  During each project they will design and form 3-Dimensional pieces using their hand-building skills. Each project will be glazed and fired. Projects will include ceramic bowls, mugs, vases, plates, and sculptures.

Semester 2: 2-Dimensional Art

Students will explore various drawing and painting techniques.  This includes value drawing, perspective, paint application, and printmaking.  They will also utilize technology to complete a photography unit that allows them to capture and edit photos. Projects this semester will include pencil drawings, charcoal and pastel drawings, watercolors, acrylic painting, printmaking, and photography.

All finished Artwork will be displayed through the PRMS Artsonia account at www.artsonia.com.
