Kindergarten is an exciting milestone for both students and families! While official kindergarten enrollment takes place in July, there are several steps you can take now to prepare. Be sure to explore our “Timeline to Kindergarten” which provides helpful guidance and important milestones to support you as you get ready for a successful start to kindergarten this fall.

Timeline to Preschool

Preschool is an exciting time for families and students! Starting your school jounrey can come with many questions so while official preschool enrollment takes place in July, there are several steps you can take now to prepare. Be sure to explore our “Timeline to Preschool” which provides helpful guidance and important milestones to support you as you get ready for a successful start to preschool this fall.

Enrollment

As a public school system, we welcome all students who live within the district's boundaries and meet state age and health requirements. Under certain circumstances, there are opportunies for students who do not reside in our school distrcit boundries to attend as non residents. For more informaion on the process for applying as a non resident check out the “non residents” tab below. For specific enrollment information, use the resources below to learn more. If you have specific questions about enrollment or the enrollment process please contact Pleasant Ridge Elementary.  

  • A parent or legal gaurdian are required to enroll a child in school. 

  • The following documents are required at enrollment: 

    • State Certificate of live birth

      • For Kindergarten students must be 5 on or before Aug 31, 2026

      • For Preschool students must be 4 on or before August 31. 2026 

    • Updated immunization records

    • Student health assessment (physical must be within the last year)

    • Proof of Residence in the Easton USD 449 District (your most recent utility bill or recent housing contract, rent/lease agreement)

  • Preschool Interest Survey 

    Below is a link to our Preschool Interest Survey. Please complete this survey if you are interested in your child attending Pleasant Ridge Elementary School during the 2026-2027 school year. for preschool This is NOT enrollment to school, but you will be on our list to send updated information to as we plan forward for the upcoming school year so you don’t miss out on anything important.

    Below is a link to our Kindergarten Interest Survey. Please complete this survey if you are interested in your child attending Pleasant Ridge Elementary School during the 2026-2027 school year. This is NOT enrollment to school, but you will be on our list to send updated information to as we plan forward for the upcoming school year so you don’t miss out on anything important.

  • All preschool families will need to enroll their child in person as it’s the first entry point to school. We will host an enrollment day at the elementary school in July. The date will be deermined and sent out to families to scheudle an appointment for enrollment. Please have all required documents ready at your appointment. 

     

    Kindergarten students who attended our preschool program will be able to enroll online from home using the Powerschool Parent Portal. 

     

    Kindergarten students who are new to our distrcit will need to make an appointment to enroll in person.
